Fans worldwide are expected to turn out for a Tomb Raider video game commemoration event on Saturday. TR26 is an annual fan event held in Derby, the city where the game, known for its heroine, Lara Croft was created. Tomb Raider was created by a small team working at Derby-based video game developer Core Design. The event was held at the Quad, an arts and film space in the town.
Mr Earle said it had sold 170 tickets, with fans travelling from places such as Chicago and Marseille. This year’s event, he said, will mark the last match made at Derby Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness.
