Netflix is rolling out new ad-supported streaming options in November, rolling out less costly offerings while fighting to retain viewers. The plan will be available in 12 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. The company said the service would cost PS4.99 per month in the UK and $6.99 in the US.
Netflix has been losing customers as pressure from competition and cost-of-living increases. As a result, the company lost over a million subscribers during the year’s first half. It is scheduled to give investors an update on this number next week.
